GI'S ANATOMY: DRAWING GENDER, DRAWING SEX, DRAWING BODIES

Tuesday, July 30, 2013 - 12:00 to Sunday, August 4, 2013 - 15:00

This exhibition is the result of a project delivered by Gendered Intelligence, which aims to engage the public with ideas of sex and gender diversity including some of the medical practices that are involved with the complexities of sexed and gendered bodies. We worked with 30 transgender and intersex people who took part in a series of practical life drawing workshops drawing life models who were also transgender and intersex identified.
The exhibition will only be on for a short time, so do not hesitate to swing by the Frameless Gallery (located next to a shop called "Craft Central") and have a look at these highly personal and diverse interpretations of bodies - everyone is welcome!

The daily opening hours will be 12-19 (GMT) - but the exhibition will close early on the 4th August, so don't be late!
